A panel discussion
Reintegration of Psychoanalysis

On the 13th of November 2009
From 1pm to 8pm
In the beautiful Baroque Abbey of Emauzy, Prague

The discussion is based on the idea "that the analyst's use of technique needs to be attuned to the analysand's current unconscious developmental tasks"

The participants in the discussion so far will be

The speakers will concentrate on the following questions:

  • What developmental tasks (or disorders) did the founder(s) of your approach concentrate on?
  • What developmental tasks (or disorders) do you concentrate on?
  • What particular techniques do you use in your work?
  • In what way are the techniques attuned to the analysands´s developmental tasks?
  • Do you change the techniques in the case of different analysands?
  • Do you change the techniques during the same analysis or even during one session?

Important dates:

  • Registration opening
  • 15th May 2009 / Deadline for the title of the papers, abstracts and the speakers' short introduction of their career
  • 1st September 2009 / Deadline for the contributions
  • 1st November 2009/ Deadline for the response to the discussion contribution according to speaker's choice.

Registration before and on 1st September 2009:
Full Fee – 700 CZK
Students – 200 CZK

Registration on 2nd September 2009 and later:
Full Fee – 1.000 CZK
Students – 400 CZK
Registration Fee is in Czech Crowns (CZK)

Registration fee for participants includes:
Entrance to scientific programme, Refreshments, Conference materials including programme and abstracts, Main papers
