Karina Turok is an outstanding photographer, whose book, Life and Soul: Portraits of women who move South Africa, has a number of pictures of women who have shaped South African history, including several--Antjie Krog, Mamphela Ramphele, and Pumla Gobodo-Madikizela--who will be presenting at the Congress. The foreword is by Mamphela Ramphele. the keynote speaker for our Congress.    Life and Soul is published by Double Storey Books, a division of Jurta & Co.  Ltd., Mercury Crescent, Wetton, Cape Town. 
Karina Turok will be on the August 15 panel to be moderated by John Beebe, "Jung's Journey to Africa."
