Pia Skogemann’s main themes over the years have been femininity and fairy tales and a combination of the two. She has in her writings dealt with the particular need in Analytical Psychology for concepts to understand the development of the female and the feminine. And she has written about fairy tales with a focus on female heros. She has also published books and articles on other themes which you can read more about by clicking HERE to read Misser Berg’s interview.
We asked Pia Skogemann to name one of her favourite fairy tales and she chose the Norse fairy tale King Valemon. The illustration above is painted by Theodor Kittelson, see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White-Bear-King-Valemon
