The Second International Conference of the FEGAP (Finnish-Estonian Group for Analytical Psychology) is dedicated to the exploration of parallel realities.
As analysts, and as human beings, we deal with the complex relations between consciousness and unconscious contents. Besides, like in the movie “The Matrix”, we all live in and between many different realms as well: the culture of our ancestors mingles with the technological reality and the cyber cultures; our personal and familiar history entwines with online existences and social networks; our physical body is modified and defied by virtual reality. All these different, parallel realms can be connected or dissociated, can be in dialogue or separated, can define us or challenge our identity.
This conference wishes to offer a space for deeper reflections on these and further multiple layers.
We are happy to announce that the keynote speaker of the conference will be Warren Colman, Jungian analyst, member of the IAAP (International Association for Analytical Psychology) and of the SAP (Society of Analytical Psychology), author of several papers, and of the book “Act and Image: The Emergence of Symbolic Imagination”, Spring Publications, 2016.
The Conference is intended to Jungian analysts, trainees, students, psychotherapists, and to everyone interested.
We kindly invite contributors to submit proposals for academic papers and for workshops as well.
Proposals of no more than 500 words should be sent in English to Giorgio Tricarico (firstname.lastname@example.org) and Kaj Noschis (email@example.com) within FEBRUARY 1st, 2020.
The proposals should also include:
- full name, title, address, and email;
- institutional or professional affiliation, and
- a short biography.
See you in Tallinn!
