Symposium : Carl Gustav Jung (1875–1961): new perspectives on the genesis of a work

14 + 15 November, 2025, University of Strasbourg

The ‘Germanic and Northern European Worlds’ research unit at the University of Strasbourg, which since the early 1990s has been a centre for research into the work of Carl Gustav Jung from an intellectual history perspective, is organising two days of study to mark the 150th anniversary of his birth. The main objective is to shed new light on the genesis of a body of work that is still little known in France, from his early studies under the aegis of his collaboration with Freud in the early 20th century to his last works in the late 1950s.
